Technical Product Designer – Powertrain (m/f/d)

Tasks:

• Creating and maintaining technical drawings, 3D models and design documentation for components and assemblies in the powertrain sector
• Supporting the development team in the design of powertrains, internal combustion, hybrid or electric drive systems
• Producing standard-compliant manufacturing and component drawings, including dimensions, tolerances and documentation
• Creating and maintaining bills of materials and technical documentation
• Working closely with design, testing, manufacturing, procurement and suppliers to ensure production-ready implementation
• Supporting change management, approval processes and data maintenance in PLM systems.
• Contributing to the optimisation of existing designs in terms of manufacturability, cost and quality

Profile:

• Completed training as a technical draughtsman, technical product designer or a comparable technical qualification
• Initial professional experience in the automotive sector, ideally in the field of powertrain, drive technology or engine development
• Proficiency in a common CAD system, such as Siemens NX, CATIA, Creo or similar
• Proficiency in working with technical drawings, manufacturing documentation and relevant norms and standards
• Very good command of English
