**Qualifications**

• BSc or MSc in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Computer, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in embedded hardware/product development, including technical leadership of multidisciplinary programs.
• Proven track record of taking embedded products from concept through prototype, certification and volume production.
• Experience presenting products and technical designs to international customers in live meetings and securing their approval.
• Experience in a product management, technical product owner or customer-facing solutions engineering role, including requirements definition and technical proposals.
• Strong knowledge of SBCs, compute modules and edge computing architectures, with hands-on understanding of common hardware interfaces (PCIe, USB, Ethernet, CAN, RS-485, etc.) and wireless connectivity (LTE/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS).
• Ability to review schematics, PCB layouts, power and thermal designs.
• Ability to translate customer problems into product requirements and make clear technical and business trade-offs.
• Fluent in English and Turkish, with excellent presentation and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will own custom edge computing products end to end, from strategy and definition to technical architecture, customer solutions and the full product lifecycle through volume production.

• Drive the technical definition and delivery of custom carrier boards, gateways and complete edge AI computers built for professional customers, from concept to volume production.
• Act as the technical product owner between customers, sales, engineering and manufacturing.
• Confidently run live meetings with customers and partners in the US and Europe: present new products and architecture and design reviews to customer engineering teams, discuss technical requirements and secure technical approval.
• Own the product definition for Custom Design programs, translating customer and market needs into clear requirements, specifications, priorities and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps, and identify opportunities to standardize and reuse Sixfab reference designs, platforms and software components.
• Analyze competitive products, BOM costs, component availability and market trends to guide platform and architecture decisions.
• Prioritize engineering work based on customer value, business impact and technical risk.
• Work with the Director of Industrial Computing Solutions to evaluate business cases, development costs, production volumes and target margins.
• Establish engineering standards for design reviews, documentation, release management and testing.
• Define system architecture for custom edge computers, covering compute, connectivity and AI acceleration, and evaluate compute platforms based on performance, cost, availability and customer requirements.
• Drive hardware, BSP and software design reviews, and document key technical decisions and trade-offs.
• Own the embedded Linux stack per product, from bootloader and drivers to OTA updates and security.
• Run technical discovery and feasibility reviews, convert customer requirements into product specifications and engineering work packages, and propose alternatives that improve cost, performance or time-to-market.
• Write the technical sections of RFP and RFQ responses.
• Plan and run prototype builds, hardware bring-up and testing, and drive certification readiness (CE/RED, FCC, PTCRB and others as applicable).
• Work with manufacturing on DFM/DFT and production test to ensure a smooth transition to volume production.
• Own root-cause analysis for field issues and RMAs, and use field and production feedback to drive engineering changes, obsolescence management, cost-down initiatives and improvements to requirements and reusable platforms.
