Technical Product Manager, Data

For our client, we are seeking a Technical Product Manager, Data to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will own the strategy and delivery of data-focused technology solutions that support business objectives and improve decision-making. You will partner closely with engineering, business, and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, shape the roadmap, and ensure scalable execution. The position also calls for a strong balance of technical depth, product thinking, and leadership across data platforms and analytics capabilities.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $176,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of scalable technology solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements
• Drive technical innovation and design improvements
• Document standards and best practices for software systems
• Experiment and validate ideas to inform product decisions
• Grow talent through mentoring and hiring
• Identify and resolve technical issues in collaboration with engineering teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of software engineering or comparable experience
• Experience driving data solutions aligned with business goals
• Strong background in BI platforms and data warehouses
• Skills in assessing third-party technology capabilities
• Proven track record in defining technology vision and roadmaps
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
