Technical Product Owne

Role Description The Technical Product Owner will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver product features that support ORAS’s online research assistance services. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and analyzing user requirements, maintaining and refining the product backlog, writing clear user stories, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. The role also involves troubleshooting product issues, collaborating with support and sales teams to improve user experience, and identifying opportunities for new features that enhance service reliability and efficiency. This is a part-time remote role, requiring regular virtual collaboration and proactive communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills to collect, interpret, and prioritize product requirements and performance data.
• Excellent Communication abilities to collaborate with technical teams, researchers, students, and business stakeholders.
• Experience in Technical Support and Troubleshooting within web-based or SaaS products.
• Basic understanding of Sales processes to align product features with user needs and business objectives.
• Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a related product management role.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira, or similar).
• Knowledge of or interest in medical, biological, or academic research domains is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline), or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours effectively, and meet deadlines.
