Technical Program Manager - AI Infra

Senior Technical Programme Manager | AI/ML Network Infra | Fully Remote US

A global organisation is looking for a Senior Technical Programme Manager to own the delivery of data centre network deployment programmes end to end, specifically for AI and machine learning infrastructure.

This is an execution role. You will run AI cluster network build programmes from planning through commissioning and handoff, covering new builds, retrofits, rack refresh, and augments across a large-scale data centre network footprint.

This is infrastructure deployment, with a specific focus on the networks that power AI and ML compute workloads at the cutting edge of GPU cluster and AI infrastructure scale.

You do not need to be a network engineer, but you need enough technical fluency to hold your own in conversations about spine and leaf architecture, high-bandwidth low-latency fabric deployments, and NPI hardware, and to know when the answers you are getting do not add up.

What you will own

• Own end-to-end delivery of AI and ML network infrastructure deployment programmes. AI cluster network builds, NPI hardware rollouts, new builds, retrofits, rack refresh, and capacity augments across the data centre network fabric.
• Translate strategic roadmaps into executable delivery plans.
• Ensure BOMs are ordered correctly and on time and identify long-lead procurement risks before they become programme blockers.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies across network engineering, supply chain, security, and operations.
• Establish and maintain programme governance.

What you need

• Proven experience in managing multi-workstream programmes with hard deadlines, held vendors and engineering teams accountable
• Hands-on experience managing data centre network deployments in a hyperscale or mission-critical environment.
• You can hold informed conversations about DC fabric, ToR switching, spine and leaf architecture, and GPU cluster deployment without needing to configure the equipment yourself.
• Hardware and BOM management experience, managing equipment procurement at scale.
• You have managed multi-vendor delivery environments where no single team owns the entire critical path.
