What they need
Navira Federal, LLC is a small business federal contractor. We are recruiting a Technical Program Manager and Business Systems Analyst.
A small, senior, fully remote team supporting a federal agency. Two things happen at once: we keep a large existing financial and contract management application running reliably, and we design and build its replacement on a modern stack. Everyone on the team holds a lane and helps in a second one.
What you will do
Run the program office for a small team: schedule, cost and variance reporting, status reporting to a government program manager, risk management and training.
Act as the business analyst for the replacement system, which means you write the requirements with the users rather than receive them.
Required qualifications
We cannot waive these. A bachelor's degree in the career field plus 15 years of relevant experience, and a current PMP, PfMP or PgMP certification or an equivalent project or program management certification. Without one of these certifications we cannot put you forward, however strong the rest of your background is.
What we are looking for
Program management on a federal financial, acquisition or contract management system.
Experience writing requirements for a system that handles money.
Comfort being the single point of contact for a government customer.
How to apply
Apply through this posting with your resume. In your application, tell us your earliest possible availability and your salary expectation.
We will tell you what we can about the customer and the schedule once we are in direct conversation and the appropriate agreement is in place.
Work location and schedule
Fully remote, anywhere in the continental United States. Occasional travel to the Washington DC area within two business days of a request. This is a full-time position. Equipment is provided.
Pay and benefits
Pay range: $130,000 to $160,000 per year, contingent on contract award. The salary offered within this range will depend on factors such as experience, skills and qualifications for the role.
Benefits: Navira Federal supports its people at work and in life. Our benefits package includes medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, disability coverage, and supplemental options such as accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity plans. Final plan details are set when the contract is awarded and confirmed in your offer letter.
Conditions of employment
This position is contingent on contract award. We are bidding this work now. Award is expected in early 2027 and work is expected to begin around September 2027. We will be straightforward with you at every step about where the bid stands.
We are asking people to commit in advance, in writing, because this is a key personnel position and we are naming the person who fills it in our proposal.
Every position requires a federal Public Trust suitability determination at the moderate level, which currently takes one to two months. Non-U.S. citizens may be considered, subject to the government's advance approval.
Equal employment opportunity
Navira Federal, LLC is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race (including traits associated with race, such as hair texture and protective hairstyles), color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, family responsibilities, genetic information, disability, military status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law. Qualified applicants will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability or protected veteran status.
We provide reasonable accommodation to qualified individuals with disabilities, for pregnancy-related limitations, and for sincerely held religious beliefs, as required by law. Qualified applicants must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. To request an accommodation during the application or interview process, contact Lili Faustin directly at [email protected].
