Technical Project Coordinator / Mandarin Assistant

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Technical Project Coordinator / Mandarin Assistant to support our Technical Lead in coordinating system and software development projects.

The successful candidate will help translate business requirements into clear development tasks, monitor project progress, coordinate with frontend and backend developers, conduct system testing, and ensure that software deliverables meet business requirements.

This role is ideal for someone with a foundation in software development, a good understanding of system functionality, and strong analytical and coordination skills. Advanced coding skills are not required, but familiarity with software development processes and system testing is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and organize business requirements from management and Operations into clear system features and development tasks.
• Monitor project timelines, task completion, development progress, and project delays.
• Test system features, business workflows, and exception scenarios to ensure they meet documented requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and retest software bugs until resolution.
• Coordinate with Technical, Operations, Promotions, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain technical documentation, functional requirements, flowcharts, meeting minutes, and release notes.
• Track software releases, testing environments, deployment activities, and post-launch issues.
• Verify system data, user attribution, rewards, and settlement records against business rules.
• Assist in communicating technical requirements and project updates in Mandarin and English.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required.
• Background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• Foundational understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with frontend and backend systems, databases, APIs, and JSON.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database relationships.
• Experience in software testing, quality assurance, writing test cases, and documenting bugs.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for tracking project progress, testing results, and reports.
• Ability to interpret UI prototypes, flowcharts, and business workflows.
• Basic understanding of Git/GitHub and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage competing priorities.

What We’re Looking For

We value candidates who can understand how systems work, identify potential issues, and translate business needs into practical technical requirements. Business logic, analytical thinking, and system-testing capabilities are more important than advanced coding skills.

Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php100,000.00 per month
