Technical Project Manager (BFS)

Role Summary

Seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong Banking and Financial Services domain expertise to lead customer-facing technology programs. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end project delivery, manage cross-functional teams, oversee project financials, and ensure successful execution of digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple BFS technology projects from initiation through production deployment.
• Serve as the primary customer-facing delivery lead.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate activities across business, product, development, QA, DevOps, cloud, and infrastructure teams.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, governance reviews, and executive status meetings.
• Track risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Ensure adherence to PMO standards and compliance requirements.
• Manage vendor and third-party relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Project/Program Management.
• 5+ years of Banking & Financial Services experience.
• Experience managing distributed onsite/offshore delivery teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and traditional project management methodologies.
• Experience with cloud transformation, APIs, data platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or Scrum Master certification.
• Experience with digital banking, payments, lending, treasury, or wealth management platforms.
• Experience managing large-scale transformation programs ($1M+ budgets).
• Exposure to AI-enabled modernization and automation initiatives.
