Technical Project Manager

We are looking for a proactive Technical Project Manager/System Analyst to join our dynamic team. You will be playing a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation. The primary scope involves the analysis, documentation, and translation of user requirements into feasible and effective technical specifications, ensuring alignment with overall system architecture and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• User Requirement Analysis: Collaborate closely with business partners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and end-users to deeply understand, document, and validate business processes, workflows, and functional requirements.

• Technical Solution Design: Translate high-level user requirements and business needs into detailed technical specifications, functional specifications, and system design documents (e.g., flowcharts, wireframes, use cases).

• Impact Assessment: Conduct thorough analysis of new requirements on existing systems, determining technical feasibility, potential risks, and resource needs.

• Data Modeling: Assist in defining data requirements and structures necessary to support new functionalities.

• Development Support: Act as the primary liaison between the business and the development team during the system development lifecycle (SDLC). Clarify technical specifications, address development queries, and ensure the implemented solution adheres to the documented requirements.

• Testing Support: Define acceptance criteria and support the Quality Assurance (QA) team by reviewing test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of requirements. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the final product meets business expectations.

• Defect Management: Investigate and analyze reported system defects, determining the root cause and coordinating resolution efforts between business users and the development team.

• Documentation Management: Maintain and update all system documentation, including requirements, specifications, and change logs.

• Communication Suggestion (To Business Partners):

  • Clarity: Present complex technical concepts and options in clear, non-technical language tailored for business understanding.
  • Expectation Management: Clearly articulate timelines, limitations, and potential trade-offs of proposed solutions.
  • Feedback Loop: Establish a structured process for gathering, documenting, and incorporating business feedback.

• Communication Suggestion (To Development Team):

  • Precision: Provide unambiguous, detailed, and technically sound specifications.
  • Proactive: Anticipate potential technical hurdles and communicate them early to the development lead.
  • Context: Provide sufficient business context alongside technical details to ensure the development team understands the why behind the requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and modeling tools (e.g., UML, BPMN).
