Technical Project Manager:

Key Responsibilities

• Own project planning, execution, tracking, and delivery from initiation through closure.
• Define project scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, resources, and deliverables.
• Work closely with tech teams to translate business requirements into actionable technical plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project priorities.
• Track project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Communicate project status, risks, and key decisions to leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks and escalate issues when required.
• Manage changes to scope, priorities, timelines, and resources.
• Ensure adherence to engineering processes, quality standards, security requirements, and organizational policies.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, dashboards, and status reports.
• Collaborate with architects and technical leads to understand system dependencies and technical risks.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and team effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in project/program management within a technology environment.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience managing software engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of technical concepts such as APIs, databases, cloud platforms, integrations, and system architecture.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
