What they need
Technical Project Manager
The Project Manager is the operational and strategic coordinator of the team — ensuring smooth delivery, alignment, and collaboration across campaign, CDP, analytics, and QA workstreams. This role manages the rhythm and discipline of the program: defining and enforcing ways of working, organizing cross-functional status forums, maintaining process documentation, and serving as the early warning system for team dynamics, stakeholder alignment, and delivery risks.
You will work directly with the leadership and team leads to define swim lane ownership, establish and evolve SLAs, manage intake and prioritization workflows, and ensure consistent delivery cadence. You act as the connective tissue between technical execution, business requirements, and stakeholder expectations — lifting issues before they escalate and proactively building the operational infrastructure the team needs to scale.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow & Process Management
- Define, document, and enforce the end-to-end workflow for campaign requests, project intake, and delivery — from brief to QA to launch.
- Own the intake and SLA management process: qualify requests, set clear timelines and expectations, track against commitments, and escalate blockers early.
- Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and process documentation; update documentation as workflows evolve and new processes are needed.
- Establish and communicate swim lane ownership, ways of working, and SLAs across the team (Campaign Management, CDP, Analytics, QA); ensure clarity on handoffs and decision rights.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Status Management
- Organize and run regular team status calls, weekly portfolio reviews, and stakeholder check-ins; ensure clear agendas, timely communication, and action tracking.
- Create visibility into WIP, blockers, risks, and dependencies across all workstreams; surface issues in real time and escalate to leadership when needed.
- Align the team on shared priorities, sequencing, and trade-offs; facilitate cross-team discussions on methodology, tool configuration, and best practices.
Team & Stakeholder Health
- Monitor team dynamics, workload, and morale; escalate early signals of team friction to leadership for resolution.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and alignment; pull leadership in when there are signs of stakeholder misalignment, scope creep, or delivery risk.
- Support onboarding and ramp of new team members; maintain standards for quality, process adherence, and team cohesion as the program scales.
Metrics & Reporting
- Track and report on key delivery metrics: SLA compliance, throughput, quality, and cycle time; identify trends and drive process improvements.
- Maintain a clear view of capacity, utilization, and dependencies; flag resource constraints or skillset gaps early.
Collaboration & Influence
- Partner with team leads (Campaign Manager, CDP Manager, Analytics Lead, QA Lead) to define standards, resolve conflicts, and optimize workflows.
- Work with onshore leadership (Studio, and delivery teams) to align on priorities, timelines, and go-to-market plans.
- Coordinate across a multi-vendor environment, knowing what level of detail to discuss and who to loop in for which topics
- Act as the voice of process discipline and operational excellence; help the team adopt best practices and maintain quality standards under pressure.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years in project management, program coordination, or operations roles in marketing, or enterprise delivery.
- Proven experience defining workflows, managing intake and prioritization, and scaling processes as teams grow.
- Experience coordinating across distributed teams, managing stakeholder alignment, and navigating cross-functional dependencies.
- Strong operational discipline: comfort with SLA management, metrics tracking, documentation, and process enforcement.
Platform & Domain Knowledge
- Working knowledge of marketing operations, campaign delivery, and stacks (Adobe Experience Platform, Journey Optimizer, CDP platforms).
- Familiarity with agile / lean delivery methodologies and sprint-based planning.
- Understanding of QA discipline, campaign delivery workflows, and multi-channel marketing execution.
Soft Skills
- Fluent English (written and spoken) for daily collaboration with US leadership and stakeholders; Spanish fluency a plus for regional coordination.
- Strong upward communication: ability to surface issues early, communicate risks clearly, and escalate without alarm.
- High emotional intelligence and facilitation skills; comfort managing difficult conversations, resolving conflicts, and building consensus.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline; ability to build and maintain systems of record.
- Strong prioritization and time management; ability to manage ambiguity and wear multiple hats in a fast-moving environment.
