Technical Project Manager

CredenTek Software & Consultancy Pvt Ltd is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Pune office. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced technical professional with 8–10 years in Java-based software development and a proven track record managing banking projects.

In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of 8–10 developers and testers, driving project delivery through strong technical oversight and stakeholder management. You will be responsible for effort estimation, code review governance, document preparation, and timely project execution. Your expertise in Java, Spring frameworks, microservices architecture, and banking domain will be critical in guiding technical decisions and ensuring quality standards.

You will interact regularly with clients, coordinate with the Delivery Head, and manage the full project lifecycle. The role requires travel as per client requirements and offers competitive compensation of ₹18–22 LPA. This position is based at our Baner, Pune office with Monday–Friday work-from-office schedule. The ideal candidate brings not only strong technical depth but also excellent communication skills, confidence in decision-making, and proven leadership ability in managing cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Must-Have Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE technologies and microservices architecture
• Expert knowledge of Core Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, and JDBC
• Proven experience with web application environments including Eclipse, Tomcat, and WebLogic/WebSphere
• Proficiency with version control (Git/SVN) and build tools (Maven)
• Demonstrated mastery of relational databases, particularly Oracle Database (MS SQL a plus)
• Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP web services, including API integration
• Strong JSON, Swagger, and Postman skills for API development and testing
• Minimum 2–4 years of dedicated banking domain experience (mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years of proven team handling experience managing 8–10 developers and testers
• Demonstrated ability to perform effort estimation, conduct code reviews, and prepare technical documentation
• Strong client-facing experience with excellent communication and written skills

Must-Have Soft Skills:

• Expert-level task delegation and team leadership abilities
• Confident decision-maker with strong leadership presence
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proactive approach to timely project execution and delivery

Nice-to-Have:

• Additional exposure to Spring Security, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud
• Knowledge of React, JavaScript, jQuery, or .NET frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or MCA with post-graduate diploma/degree from a reputed institution

Special Requirements:

• Willing to travel as per client requirements (role-specific mandate)
• 1-year minimum service commitment on company payroll after joining

Pay: ₹1,600,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
