Technical Project Manager – Data Center Migrations

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with 3-6 years of experience to lead and manage large-scale data center migration projects for a leading data center networking company . The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in networking, excellent project management skills, and proven success in delivering complex infrastructure migration projects on time and within budget.

Essential Functions of the job:

· Lead the end-to-end execution of data center migration projects.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network architects, engineers, and stakeholders, to

define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.

· Develop and maintain project plans, including resource allocation, budgets, schedules, and risk

assessments.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring transparency, communication, and alignment

throughout the project lifecycle.

· Oversee and coordinate technical teams to ensure successful design, testing, and migration execution.

· Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues proactively to maintain project progress.

· Conduct status meetings, prepare progress reports, and ensure timely escalation of critical issues.

· Work closely with Customer solutions teams to ensure deployments align with best practices and client

requirements.

· Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and compliance requirements.

· Drive continuous improvement through post-migration reviews and lessons learned analysis

Required Skills & Experience:

· 3-6 years of experience in IT infrastructure project management, with a focus on data center migrations .

· Strong expertise in Networks solutions, including EOS, CloudVision, and spine-leaf architectures is a plus.

· Demonstrated experience in managing complex, multi-site networking projects with service provider

customers or large financial services enterprises is preferred.

· Proven ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to scope.

· In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, infrastructure, and migration methodologies.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills is a MUST

· Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.).

· PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is preferred.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

· Hands-on experience with deployments in large-scale environments.

· Familiarity with cloud integrations and hybrid data center strategies.

· Strong understanding of automation and network orchestration tools.
