Role: Technical Project Manager – Data Engineering, Data Warehousing & Cloud Data Modernization Experience: 12+ years Location: Chennai/Bangalore Key Skills: Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Cloud Data Modernization, Scrum Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead Data Engineering and Data Warehousing projects , with a strong focus on modernizing data platforms to the cloud . The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud migration strategies , data architecture , and ETL processes , ensuring seamless transitions and optimized performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for Data Engineering and Data Warehousing modernization initiatives.
• Design and implement cloud-based data platforms, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
• Oversee ETL processes, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and risks, ensuring successful delivery.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to drive efficient project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the project team.
• Ensure alignment with business goals and data governance policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Data Enginering, Data Warehousing, and Cloud data Modernization.
• Strong expertise in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud for data platform migration.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, data marts, and cloud-based architectures.
• Proficiency in Agile project management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines for performance.
• Experience in data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
• Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies (Spark, Databricks, etc.).
