What they need

Moro Technology Corporation (MTC) is Software Engineering services provider with teams across Europe, Japan and North America. By combining technical expertise with the principles of Japanese craftsmanship, we focus on building high-quality solutions while continuously improving the way we work. Our work spans Automotive and Smart Mobility, helping shape the systems people rely on every day.

Joining MTC means becoming part of an international team where you will work on meaningful projects, collaborate with talented colleagues across countries and disciplines, and have the opportunity to learn, grow, and make an impact.

We are Global by Design and Close by Choice. We foster a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and mutual respect, where people are trusted to do their best work.

The Impact Of The Role We are looking for a Technical Project Manager responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of critical business applications and technical platforms. This role serves as the primary owner of assigned services, overseeing their full lifecycle from implementation and upgrades to maintenance, optimization, and retirement. Acting as a key link between business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams, the Technical Service Lead drives service reliability, manages roadmaps and budgets, coordinates issue resolution, and ensures compliance with security and operational standards. With a strong focus on service excellence, innovation, and stakeholder collaboration, the role plays a critical part in enabling business operations and supporting the organization's digital transformation objectives.

On a Given Day, You Will

  • Own and manage the lifecycle of business-critical engineering and R&D applications, ensuring reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define application roadmaps, prioritize requirements, and align technology investments with business objectives.
  • Lead application upgrades, migrations, disaster recovery activities, and platform enhancements across Windows, Linux, and cloud-based environments.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to deliver projects, resolve issues, and maintain service quality and operational excellence.
  • Manage product backlogs, track project progress, and ensure timely delivery of new features and improvements.
  • Oversee software licensing, supplier contracts, and CAPEX/OPEX budgets, ensuring cost-effective and compliant operations.
  • Provide technical leadership and support for application platforms, working closely with engineers and end users to solve complex operational challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience in IT service management, application ownership, or technical service leadership roles.
  • Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of business-critical applications, including upgrades, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux environments, cloud platforms, and modern infrastructure technologies.
  • Experience working with vendors, third-party service providers, and cross-functional business stakeholders.
  • Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles, incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Experience with application integrations, system migrations, release management, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to lead complex issue resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Experience managing service roadmaps, budgets, and operational performance against defined SLAs and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, containers, or cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience supporting engineering, R&D, or manufacturing environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, Agile, AWS, or Microsoft certifications.
  • Experience leading digital transformation, modernization, or cloud migration initiatives.
