Technical Project Manager - System Engineering - TFT or Cluster

Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Project Lead with System Engineering ownership for the development of next-gen TFT Instrument Clusters (10.25” & 12.3”) based on Infineon Traveo & Qualcommn platforms. This role demands strong technical leadership, cross-domain coordination, and deep system-level understanding to drive end-to-end program success with major Indian OEMs.

You will be responsible for leading technical delivery across hardware, software, and system validation streams, owning customer interactions, and ensuring product integrity throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Project Leadership

Lead the technical execution of the project across all domains – Software, Hardware, HMI, Diagnostics, Testing.

Serve as the primary technical interface to OEM customers for requirement reviews, technical alignment, and issue resolutions.

Ensure seamless collaboration across cross-functional teams to meet project milestones (VP1, VP2, PP, SOP).

Drive project planning, risk mitigation, and resource alignment from a technical perspective.

System Engineering

Own and manage system-level requirements using IBM DOORS and Rhapsody.

Define system architecture and ensure cross-functional alignment with platform constraints and customer expectations.

Perform detailed impact analysis, change management, and functional decomposition.

Lead functional validations, system reviews, and technical sign-offs.

Process & Delivery Compliance

Ensure process adherence to ASPICE Level 2/3, ISO 26262 (ASIL-B or higher), and OEM-specific development models.

Maintain traceability from system requirements through software design, implementation, and validation.

Contribute to DFMEA, system-level verification planning, and safety case preparation.

Required Skills & Experience

Educational Background: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Software Engineering.

Experience: 12–14 years in Automotive Embedded Systems, with minimum 5–6 years in Instrument Cluster development.

Hands-on exposure to Infineon Traveo, Qualcomm SOC based cluster platforms.

Strong understanding of CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS Diagnostics, and Bootloader & Flash mechanisms.

Proficient in tools such as IBM DOORS, Rhapsody, CANoe, CANalyzer, and issue tracking via JIRA.

Deep familiarity with TFT architecture, cluster lifecycle, and OEM feature sets (tell-tales, HMI logic, animations, etc.).

Preferred / Good to Have

Exposure to competitor ecosystems like Pricol, Harman, Visteon, Marelli, or Continental.

Experience in multi-display architectures, hypervisor environments, or Android-based clusters.

Awareness of cybersecurity standards (ISO/SAE 21434), Over-the-Air (OTA) update mechanisms.
