Job Title: Technical Publication Librarian

Location: FRCASE NAS North Island/Naval Base Coronado, CA

Task Description:

TECHNICAL PUBLICATION LIBRARIAN, BLS 27-3042, SCA 13090

Function: Manages and maintains all technical publications in the central/dispersed and site libraries for immediate retrieval of accurate technical information by both maintenance and management personnel.

Required experience: Minimum of two (2) years or more general publication experience. One (1) year of which must be specialized in US Navy Aviation Technical Publication Inventory Control/ requisitioning/upkeep; Satisfactory completion of U.S. Armed Forces Technical Publications Librarian courses or civilian schools with equivalent curriculum or one (1) year of on the job training/experience required; Must be able to meet any Government / Company licensing / qualification requirements for the position; Thorough working knowledge of applicable maintenance/technical manuals and publications; COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 program awareness ISO 9001-2000 program awareness; Operational Risk Management (ORM) training; Ability to inventory, control and order maintenance technical publications and directives.

Required education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Compensation

$40.86/hour

Other Compensation

Employees will receive a health and welfare fringe benefit of $7.75 for every hour paid up to 80 hours per pay period.

Employment is contingent on (a) your ability to provide appropriate proof of your identity and eligibility to work in the United States; (b) your references and any background check being satisfactory to the Company; (c) you successfully passing a pre-employment drug test; and (d) your ability to get a required clearance by your effective start date, if needed; and (e) KAI commencing performance on this contract.
