Fives Fletcher (Thailand) Co. Ltd., located in Samut Prakarn, Thailand, is the office of the French company Fives FCB which supplies a wide range of equipment and services for the sugar and bioenergy industries.

Job Description

Title: Technical Purchaser at Fives Fletcher (Thailand) Co. Ltd.

Aims of the position:

In order to accompany the growth of Fives Fletcher Thailand, the main functions are to support Fives Fletcher organisation in Projects Management and Engineering functions as:

·       Inquiries to vendors

·       Local and international technical Purchasing

·       Local procurement to replenish stock and consumables

·       Reception of Goods

And specially in charge of :

·       Prepare and follow up RFQs with local and international suppliers.

·       Review and compare technical and commercial quotations.

·       Coordinate with Project Engineers and suppliers for technical clarifications.

·       Follow up purchase orders, delivery schedules, and required documents.

·       Support supplier selection, price negotiation, and cost control.

·        Support Project and Engineering teams on procurement-related activities.

To fulfil those functions, The Technical Purchaser will have the responsibility of:

-        Achieving budget target and following strict ethical procedures

-        Filling up purchasing and vendors database

-        Filling up Goods Reception Form and co-operating with storekeeper checking compliance with Purchase Orders of  quantities and specifications

Profile of the candidate:

• Thai nationality
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or project engineering with confirmed experience in similar position or related, specially in an industrial environment
• Good oral and written communication in English
• Capability to contact and interact with suppliers
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Working experience on International companies collaborating with foreigners
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, proactive, autonomous and able to report
• Strong ethics, always representing Fives Fletcher (Thailand) in a proper and professional manner
