Technical Purchasing Officer (URGENT)

Job Summary

Responsible for sourcing and purchasing technical materials, equipment, and services required for project operations while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers for technical materials and equipment.
• Request and compare quotations, prices, and specifications.
• Prepare purchase orders and monitor deliveries.
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and suppliers regarding technical requirements.
• Ensure purchased items meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Maintain purchasing records and documentation.
• Monitor material availability and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or a related course.
• Experience in technical purchasing or construction projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or construction materials is preferred.
• Good negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Willing to work on project sites when required.
• Project-based position.
