Technical QA Analyst

Responsibilities

• Test Strategy, Execution & Reporting: Develop and execute comprehensive test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results across all test phases—ST, SIT, UAT, Failover, Capacity, and Performance. Follow defined testing standards, review test activities, develop test artefacts, and deliver clear, actionable reports on issues and defects to the project team.

• Defect & Issue Resolution: Manage defects and issues in accordance with established processes. Work closely with the application team to resolve technical blockers; proactively escalate risks affecting schedule or quality to the PM and Tech Lead, and drive follow-ups on open issues until timely closure.

• Data-Driven Quality Analysis: Solve complex problems using data-driven techniques; analyze test results and production metrics to identify patterns, uncover systemic risks, and recommend preventive measures to continuously improve quality.

• Coding & Test Development: Leverage Python and JavaScript to develop test scripts, utilities, automation frameworks, and internal tooling. Integrate solutions into CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable feedback on every commit.

• System Integration: Validate seamless data flows between our core platforms and third-party logistics/supply chain systems, ensuring end-to-end business continuity.

• Innovation & AI-Augmentation: Leverage Cursor and explore AI agents to accelerate test generation, detect flaky tests, and push the boundaries of testing efficiency.

• Requirements Collaboration: Translate business needs, user stories, and acceptance criteria into precise test strategies; actively collaborate with PM and Tech Lead during backlog grooming to influence quality outcomes from the start.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or above in Computing Information Systems, Computing Science, Computing Engineering, or equivalent.

• Experience: 1–3 years in QA, test automation, or similar technical role. Fresh graduates with strong portfolios considered for junior positions.

• Technical Skills: Hands-on coding skills in Python and JavaScript. Experience with API automation (e.g., PyTest, Playwright, Cypress, or RestAssured), performance tools (e.g., JMeter), and AWS.

• CI/CD: Exposure to Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions is a big plus.

• Agile: Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

• Languages: Fluent spoken and written Cantonese, Mandarin, and English—essential for engaging local stakeholders and regional partners.
