What You Will Do

• Source candidates using LinkedIn, GitHub, Twitter/X, Discord communities, and cold outreach.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial screening calls - separate signal from noise.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and gather feedback from interviewers.
• Maintain an organised candidate pipeline (Airtable, spreadsheet, or equivalent).
• Follow up consistently and keep candidates informed throughout the process.
• Support onboarding: help new hires ramp and track their first 30 days.
• Participate in hiring discussions and contribute to our hiring standards.
• Suggest improvements to job descriptions and the recruitment process.

What We Are Looking For

• 6+ months of recruitment, HR, or operations experience.
• Proven ability to reach out to strangers and build relationships.
• Clear written communication - emails, follow-ups, and feedback should be error-free.
• Organisational discipline: manage multiple pipelines, track deadlines, follow up.
• Genuine interest in tech hiring and how software teams work.

Good to Have

• Experience screening candidates over phone or video.
• Track record of building pipelines or sourcing networks.
• Basic understanding of tech roles: what distinguishes junior from mid-level engineers.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar recruitment tools.
• Experience with GitHub or ability to evaluate developer portfolios.
• Startup recruitment or high-growth team hiring experience.
• Knowledge of tech compensation structures in India.
• Basic technical knowledge - doesnt need to code, but should understand what backend/frontend/DevOps mean.
