Technical Sales Advisor

Centenary Agri is seeking to recruit a motivated and customer focused Technical Sales Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional to develop strong relationships with farmers, provide technical and practical advice in order to grow sales, market share and customer satisfaction across our trading area.

The Technical Sales Advisor will work closely with our suppliers and farming customers, providing expert advice and solutions across a range of agricultural products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

· Promote and sell Centenary Agri products and services.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.

· Identify and develop new business opportunities in the region.

· Provide leading edge technical advice and support to customers

· Develop sound farm specific soil and animal nutrition program based off real data.

· Oversee customer accounts and proactively manage debt collection to maintain strong cash flow and minimise overdue balances.

· Keep informed of industry developments and market trends.

· Undertake general duties associated with a field-based technical sales role.

The ideal candidate:

· Holds a Degree in Agriculture or a related agricultural discipline (essential).

· Has a strong understanding of Irish farming systems.

· Previous agricultural sales experience would be advantageous.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Self-motivated with strong organisational and time management abilities.

· Commercially focused with a proven ability to build customer relationships.

· Full clean driving licence.
