This role combines sales activities with hands-on technical servicing, repair, testing and commissioning. If you have an engineering-related qualification, enjoy solving technical problems and have an interest in sales and customer service, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Report to the Sales/Branch Manager.
• Provide and handle all sales activities, including sales trips, sales presentations, site surveys, proposals and quotations to clients in Kerteh and Gebeng, or other locations as specified by the Sales/Branch Manager.
• Handle service activities required for the completion of proposed jobs or works, including hands-on servicing and supervising testing and commissioning at the site or workshop.
• Ensure all orders and works are delivered according to contractual agreements by liaising with relevant divisions within the company.
• Provide weekly sales reports to the Sales/Branch Manager.
• Ensure all necessary activities are carried out to meet the designated yearly sales target.
• Continuously upgrade knowledge of new industry standards, innovations, technologies and processes to benefit the company.
• Perform service scope activities, including diagnostics, overhaul, repair and testing.
• Communicate issues to the Senior Service Engineer regarding job continuation, including required parts and timelines for job completion.
• Be well-versed in OEM work procedures to ensure all work is carried out thoroughly and to the highest quality.
• Maintain working knowledge of a diverse range of equipment and products, and continuously enhance knowledge of new models, industry standards, practices and technologies.
• Replace parts and components and maintain detailed, organized records of all repair work completed for each job.
• Prepare work reports, timesheets and all relevant documents pertaining to job tasks.
• Keep the work area clean, neat and in accordance with company standards, particularly to ensure the safety of all team members.
• Observe and adhere to company rules and health and safety guidelines, contributing to a healthy and safe working environment.
• Continuously improve processes and suggest enhancements to increase efficiency and service quality.
• Demonstrate personal commitment to complying with all legal and company HSE requirements and actively participate in HSE-related activities, programmes and campaigns organized by the company.
• Undertake any ad hoc assignments and other duties as and when required.

Requirements

Academic Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any engineering-related course or equivalent.

Relevant Work Experience

• Minimum 1 year of sales and service experience.
