TECHNICAL SALES & SUPPORT ENGINEER

The Support Engineer will provide technical support and expertise for oil & gas projects; supporting in providing solutions, preparing proposals, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role combines engineering knowledge with sales acumen to deliver value-driven solutions and secure project success. The position assists the Head of Oil & Gas in driving project execution and advancing overall business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical presentations and demonstrations to clients.
• Ensure timely response to clients.
• Support tendering, bidding, and contract negotiations.
• Document project deliverables, technical reports, and sales records.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines and industry trends.
• Support account managers in building long-term relationships.

Technical Expertise

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals tailored to client requirements.
• Assists in resolving technical or operational issues to keep projects on schedule.
• Prepare RFQs, purchase orders, and procurement documentations.
• Support sourcing of products, equipment and services for projects.
• Track procurement schedules to align with project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with project and contract specifications.
• Ensure compliance to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) Standards.
• Maintain compliance documentation for audits and reporting.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance

• Diagnose and resolve technical problems with operations.
• Collaborate with clients, principals and/or vendors for escalated technical problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and operational health checks.

Client Relations Management

• Act as a technical liaison between project teams, clients, principal and/or vendors.
• Provide on-site and remote support for offshore/onshore operations.
• Gather client feedback and relay it to internal teams for product/service improvement.
• Document technical issues, resolutions and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Ensure on-time invoicing and assist in payment collection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical) or related discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience in technical sales and project management within oil and gas services.
• Ability to balance technical details with commercial priorities.
• Experienced with knowledge in oilfield services.
• Knowledge of project documentation and reporting standards.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
