Technical Sales Application Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support to sales managers, end customers, and distributors.
• Coordinate internally with other departments to guide orders from initial inquiry to shipment.
• Explain technical products to non-technical audiences, both internally and externally.
• Work with customers and engineers to ensure products meet specified requirements.
• Understand customer needs, including product modifications when necessary.
• Generate quotations and conduct timely follow-ups.
• Secure orders and monitor orders from initial inquiry to shipment.
• Coordinate orders internally and communicate order updates to customers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Maintain positive working relationships with engineering and technical team members.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual Order Entry Plan.
• Record and maintain customer information in the CRM system.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on products and capabilities.
• Train Business Development Managers and Channel Partners on company products and capabilities.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory as necessary, up to 10%.
• Support marketing activities by attending trade shows and conferences.
• Call prospective customers in target segments to add to the customer base.
• Assist with research and development of new products.
• Create and maintain documents
• Support catalog part, high temperature part, profile and spike TC, and other commodity or spreadsheet-based quotations.
• Process order entries and changes, including order dating, expediting, shipment methods, and addresses.
• Follow up with customers regarding open quotations and order delivery status.
• Update CRM with quotation won/lost status and reasons.
• Determine payment status of pre-pay orders.
• Enter customer complaints into the Complaint Log.
• Support annual updates to Distribution Agreements and other legal documentation.
• Complete reports and order tracking.
• Accurately process orders in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 2 years of experience selling and supporting the sale of similar products and services.
• 2 years of Sales Support/Customer Service experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience selling or supporting the sale of technical products in a similar industry is preferred.
• Experience in Sales Engineering is preferred.
• Experience in the Power Generation, Semiconductor, Heat Treatment/Furnace, or Aerospace industry is preferred.
• Proven record of increasing revenue and achieving results is preferred.
• Mechanical or Industrial Engineering background is desired.
• Strong communication, analysis, conceptual ability, pragmatism, and resourcefulness/initiative.

Work Arrangements

• Work Location: Sto. Tomas Batangas
• Work Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day, Shifting Schedule
• Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Mid Shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• Work Set-up: Onsite

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
