Qualifications & experience

• Degree in any technical course. Minimum 1 year experience with technical pre-sales/ sales or consulting role within a systems integration or solutioning company; preferably in the Survey, Oil and Gas Sector and Maritime Sector.
• Required Skill(s): Presales, Sales, Customer Relationship Management, Technical Solution.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Supports/ Fulfils the Sales process. Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the Company.
• Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firms. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support. Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements.
• Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal’s “technical close.” Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth.
• Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within the customer. Understands the concept of Discovery and Farming in the sales realm.
