Technical Sales Engineer

About the role

Drive technical sales and develop client relationships for building materials and construction solutions across Malaysia and Singapore markets. Combine engineering knowledge with B2B sales, working with contractors, developers and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage B2B clients in the building materials sector
• Provide technical product information and solutions to clients
• Identify new project and business opportunities
• Prepare quotations, proposals and product presentations
• Liaise with contractors, developers, consultants and project teams
• Follow up on project requirements and sales opportunities
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction, Building Materials or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in technical sales, engineering sales or building materials
• Experience dealing with Singapore clients or construction projects is an advantage
• Strong technical understanding and commercial awareness
• Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
