You will operate within an assigned geographic territory (primarily in or near Georgia), serving industrial and power generation facilities. You will seek out and qualify new accounts while nurturing relationships with existing clients, engineering firms, and contractors to close technical orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory & Account Management: Drive sales across an assigned account base in heavy industrial markets, including Wood Products, Pulp & Paper, Lime & Cement, Steel, Energy, Chemical Processing, Automotive, and Engineering/Consulting firms.
- Business Development: Identify and qualify new business opportunities, execute outbound strategies, navigate customer objections, and close deals.
- Technical Sales & Support: Guide customers through product selection, technical evaluations, custom quotations, terms & conditions negotiation, and contract administration.
- Strategic Networking: Build and maintain strong partnerships with general contractors, mechanical contractors, and consulting engineers.
- Presentations & Events: Prepare and deliver technical presentations/demonstrations to engineering and plant management teams. Attend industry trade shows, seminars, and training sessions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal technical and product divisions to win and close complex engineered equipment orders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 2–5+ years of B2B technical sales, account management, or marketing experience with engineered equipment. Experience in air pollution control or environmental systems is strongly preferred.
- Skills: Strong self-starter with excellent time management, planning, and prioritization skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Travel & Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
