Technical Sales Engineer

Sunshine Multi-Plus Corporation specializes in supplying pumps, motors, water systems, and other technical and industrial products to meet various customer needs.

We are seeking an experienced and technically knowledgeable Technical Sales Engineer to support our sales operations, prepare quotations, interpret product specifications, provide technical product recommendations, and develop strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate has a background in engineering or relevant experience in technical sales, preferably with knowledge of industrial equipment, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and follow up on sales quotations, purchase orders, and other sales-related documents.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate product information.
• Assist in reviewing product specifications, technical data sheets, and other product documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient processing of sales transactions.
• Maintain accurate customer records, quotation files, and sales documentation.
• Follow up on pending quotations and identify potential sales opportunities.
• Assist with lead generation, client prospecting, cold calling, and customer relationship management.
• Support the sales team in achieving sales targets and maintaining efficient daily operations.
• Learn and develop product knowledge to better assist customers with their technical and purchasing requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Knowledge of pumps, motors, water systems, electrical products, or industrial equipment is an advantage.
• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Preferably with experience in technical sales, sales coordination, quotation preparation, customer service, or a related role.
• Good understanding of technical products, product specifications, and technical documentation is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, for quotation preparation, documentation, and sales reporting.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and time-management skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Customer-oriented, proactive, dependable, and able to coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Willing to engage in customer prospecting, outbound calls, quotation follow-ups, and other business development activities.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and assist in identifying suitable products based on their needs.
• Willing to undergo product training and continuously develop technical and sales knowledge.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
