TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER

About the role

FRONTKEN Philippines Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic sales team in Calamba City, Laguna. This is a full-time position that combines technical expertise with consultative sales skills to drive revenue growth and build lasting client relationships. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our technical capabilities and customer needs, ensuring that clients receive tailored solutions that address their business challenges. This position is integral to our account and relationship management strategy, directly contributing to our company's growth and market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and manage relationships with key accounts, understanding their technical requirements and business objectives
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective and existing clients, translating complex technical features into business benefits
• Collaborate with the technical team to design customised solutions that meet specific client needs and requirements
• Provide technical pre-sales support throughout the sales cycle, addressing client concerns and objections with expert knowledge
• Prepare and deliver detailed technical proposals and quotations aligned with client specifications and budgetary constraints
• Support the sales team in contract negotiations, ensuring technical feasibility and commercial viability
• Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, sales activities and pipeline opportunities within the CRM system
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted technical advisor post-sale
• Collaborate with account managers to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
• Stay current with industry trends, competitive products and emerging technologies relevant to our market

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Science or a related field, or equivalent technical qualification
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in a technical sales role, preferably in account and relationship management within a B2B environment
• Strong understanding of technical products and services, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and develop solutions that drive business value
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approach to achieving sales targets
• Experience in account development and managing complex, long-term client relationships is preferred
• Knowledge of specific industry sectors (such as manufacturing, logistics, telecommunications or energy) is advantageous
