Technical Sales Engineer (Construction Material / Class 3 + Own Vehicle)

Salary: $4,000 - $5,000 + Incentives
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 6.00pm
Location: Near Pioneer / Boon Lay

About the Role

An established company specializing in construction and building materials solutions is seeking a driven and customer-focused Technical Sales Engineer to join its growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy building relationships, providing technical solutions, and developing business opportunities within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and market the company's products and solutions to contractors, consultants, architects, developers, and project stakeholders.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
• Secure product specifications and approvals for projects through regular engagement with consultants, architects, engineers, and developers.
• Conduct product presentations, technical briefings, and demonstrations to prospective clients and project teams.
• Understand project requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions to meet client needs.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, tender submissions, and supporting technical documentation.
• Monitor project pipelines, follow up on enquiries, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth objectives.
• Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Attend site visits, meetings, and industry-related events as required.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Building, Construction, Business, or related disciplines.
• 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in construction materials, engineering products, technical solutions, or related industries.
• With interpersonal and presentation skills & the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-motivated, confident, and target-driven individual.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
