Technical Sales Engineer - Electrical Engineer

teamworX is a lean BPO/KPO company based in Cebu City. We deliver technical engineering support, Salesforce administration, digital marketing, and managed staffing to US clients. We’re building a new pilot team for a major US electrical and industrial automation distributor, and we’re looking for engineers who want to grow with it from day one.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support to client staff and customers across a wide range of manufacturer products
• Coordinate with manufacturer application engineers to resolve complex technical inquiries
• Cross-reference products and identify equivalent or alternative solutions from supported manufacturers based on customer requirements
• Develop and deliver technical training on products and automation theory
• Gather, prepare, and deliver technical product data and documentation to support the client’s business needs
• Help create technical content for a Learning Management System (LMS)
• Perform other related duties as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering degree with mechatronics skills or certification

• Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams, single-line diagrams, and wiring schematics, and to create electrical plans and circuits

• Solid knowledge of:

  • Motion control: drives, motors, mechanics, and controllers
  • Industrial control components: switches, sensors, transducers, transformers, power supplies, timers, counters, relays, AC motor starters
  • Pneumatic systems and automation products: PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and safety devices

• Excellent English communication skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace

• Familiarity with CAD and PLC programming

• BPO or sales experience in the industrial/electrical distribution industry is a plus

Schedule & Setup

• Night shift aligned with US business hours (EST or PST)
• Follows US holidays
