Cycle GmbH is a young deep-tech company specializing in advanced frequency and timing technologies. Combining ultrafast photonics with precision RF engineering, we develop and manufacture systems and modules for the generation, distribution and synchronization of ultra-stable frequency and timing signals. Our products are used by leading research facilities, metrology institutes, space organizations and industrial customers, supporting applications in particle accelerators, ultrafast laser facilities, space ground systems, quantum technologies and defence.

Technical Sales Engineer – Frequency & Timing (m/f/d)

You are passionate about technology and enjoy combining technical expertise with customer interaction. You are curious, proactive and motivated to understand customer applications, identify new opportunities, translate technical requirements into practical solutions, and build long-term relationships with customers and partners. You enjoy taking ownership, working hands-on, and making a meaningful impact on our customers' success and the future of Cycle.

Your responsibilities:

• Act as the primary technical and commercial contact for international customers and distributors
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, conferences, exhibitions, distributors, and online platforms
• Understand customer requirements and work closely with our engineering team to offer customized technical solutions
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations and product presentations
• Manage leads and opportunities through the complete sales process, from first contact to closure
• Support product launches, exhibitions, webinars, and other marketing activities
• Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to shape future products and business strategies
• Travel internationally to visit customers, distributors, and partners

Your profile:

• Degree in physics, electrical engineering, photonics, telecommunications or a related scientific or engineering discipline
• Experience in technical sales, application engineering or business development is an advantage; motivated graduates are also encouraged to apply
• Strong technical foundation in photonics, RF & microwave engineering, frequency & timing, precision instru-mentation or related technologies
• Excellent technical communication and presentation skills
• Excellent written and spoken English; German is an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally
