Technical Sales Engineer (Hydraulics)

• Manage assigned sales accounts and drive technical system sales, product sales, calibration services, and in-house service solutions.
• Execute sales activities to achieve business objectives and targets, including customer visits, quotation preparation, proposal development, product presentations, negotiations, and sales closing.
• Conduct cold-calling and proactive prospecting activities to promote the company’s products and services.
• Provide timely responses to customer enquiries, product information requests, and RFQs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners.
• Identify and develop new markets, customers, and business opportunities.
• Achieve assigned revenue and sales targets within the designated territory.
• Support marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
• Prepare weekly sales activity reports, sales forecasts, and updates in line with business targets.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in technical sales or engineering-related sales roles.

• Knowledge of hydraulic systems is an advantage.

• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is preferred.

• Willingness to travel frequently for customer site visits.

• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Willingness to work towards sales targets and actively pursue new business opportunities.
