Technical Sales Engineer – Industrial Heating & Cooling Systems (m/f/d)

What do heat pumps, industrial production lines, refrigeration systems and modern data centers have in common? They all need highly efficient ways to transfer heat.

That is where SWEP comes in.

SWEP develops compact brazed plate heat exchangers used in heating and cooling systems around the world. Our technology helps heat buildings, cool industrial processes, recover waste heat and manage the enormous amounts of heat generated by modern data centers and AI infrastructure.

We are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to develop our business in Western Slovakia.

This is not a traditional account management role. We are looking for someone who understands technical products, enjoys developing new business and can turn customer challenges into commercial opportunities.

Where is our technology used?

Our heat exchangers can be found across a wide range of applications:

• Data Centers & AI Infrastructure – supporting increasingly important liquid-cooling systems that remove heat generated by high-performance servers.
• Heat Pumps – transferring thermal energy efficiently within residential, commercial and industrial heating systems.
• Industrial Heating & Cooling – helping manufacturers maintain the right temperatures in production processes.
• Refrigeration – supporting efficient cooling in commercial and industrial applications.
• Heat Recovery – capturing energy that would otherwise be wasted and making it available elsewhere in the system.

Small components – but an important part of making modern heating and cooling systems more efficient, compact and sustainable.

What will you do?

You will take ownership of developing SWEP’s business in Czech Republic or Slovakia , working with OEMs, manufacturers, distributors and industrial customers.

You will:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Proactively approach new customers and open doors
• Understand customer applications and technical challenges
• Develop solutions together with SWEP’s technical specialists
• Manage opportunities from first contact through negotiation and closing
• Grow existing accounts while actively developing new ones
• Visit customers regularly and independently manage your territory

Who are we looking for?

You don’t need to be a heat exchanger expert from day one. We can teach you our technology.

What you should already know is how to sell technical products or engineered solutions to industrial customers.

Your background could be in pumps, compressors, filtration, refrigeration, cooling systems, industrial machinery, automation, mechanical components, process equipment, energy technology or another technical B2B environment.

Ideally, you bring:

• Experience in technical B2B sales, sales engineering or business development
• A strong hunter mentality and experience developing new customers
• Experience working with OEMs, industrial customers and/or distributors
• Confidence discussing solutions with engineers and technical decision-makers
• Strong commercial drive and an interest in technology
• Fluent Slovak and strong English
• Willingness to travel regularly across the territory
