TECHNICAL SALES EXECUTIVE

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads.
• Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions/products.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations and technical documentation.
• Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
• Coordinate with engineering, technical and operations teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations and sales opportunities through to order closure.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
• Provide after-sales support and maintain strong customer relationships.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Technical, Business, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in technical sales, industrial sales, engineering sales, or B2B sales.
• Strong technical understanding and ability to communicate technical concepts to customers.
• Good negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
• Able to develop new accounts as well as manage existing customers.
• Willing to travel for customer visits when required.
• Proactive, target-oriented and commercially minded.
• Candidates with experience in the relevant industry will have an advantage.
