Technical Sales Executive

About the role

As a Technical Sales Executive, you will be part of our sales and technical efforts and play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing long-lasting relationships with our valued clients.

Key responsibilities

• Communicating with clients and understanding their needs and requirements to provide suitable products and solutions
• Collaborating with suppliers and principals to communicate customer feedback and identify areas for improvement
• Prepare, issue, and review documents such as technical proposals, quotations and purchase orders
• Follow up on enquiries, negotiate contracts, and provide after-sales support
• Coordinating with colleagues (e.g engineering, logistics, project team) to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction
• Ad-hoc assignments such as warehousing and stock taking duties

About you

• Minimum diploma in Marine engineering or related fields
• 1-2 year working experience in marine industry
• Knowledge of marine outfitting products such as marine doors, windows, hatches, accommodation systems, insulation, or similar products is highly advantageous
• Aptitude to acquire new skills, technical and product knowledge
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Independent, self-motivated and able to work effectively to meet operation objectives
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Proficiency in AUTOCAD/BricsCAD
