About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to build something real in the Hunter, one of Australia's most concentrated industrial and mining regions. The Hunter Valley coalfields and the Port of Newcastle, the world's largest coal export port, sit directly on the customer base you'd be selling into, manufacturers, contractors and industrial businesses that are already busy and buying. You won't be creating demand from nothing, you'll be bringing a first-class product portfolio to a market that's already running hot, solving real engineering challenges, not just taking orders.

You'll build your patch across Newcastle and the Hunter with real autonomy, backed by a local Internal Sales team, so you're never doing this alone. This is a role for someone who wants real authority over their success, challenge in equal measure with support, and a business that's growing around them.

Duties

• Build genuine relationships with Newcastle and Hunter Valley manufacturers, contractors and industrial businesses across mining, heavy industry and port-related sectors
• Represent a portfolio of world-class automation, electrical and instrumentation brands into a region already at full capacity
• Identify and shape solutions that solve real customer challenges, backed by our client's technical specialists
• Take charge of your success on the road, manage your patch and pipeline with real autonomy, backed by local team support.

Skills & Experience

• A genuine relationship-builder with a consultative, curious approach to sales
• Comfortable on the road, and driving your own success across a regional patch
• Industry or technical exposure (automation, instrumentation, electrical, industrial) is a plus. Attitude and drive count just as much
• Full driver's licence and Australian work rights
