Technical Sales Representative

Correct Cryogenics, Inc. is a specialized service company supporting the Industrial Gas and Cryogenic Industries in California.

From our Fontana, California operation, we provide field service, repairs, inspections, installations, maintenance and specialized cryogenic services for customers operating bulk tanks, microbulk systems, liquid cylinders, cryogenic trailers, ISO containers, vaporizers, pumps, vacuum jacketed piping, fill plants, and related equipment.

We are continuing to grow and are looking for an experienced industry professional to help us expand our customer relationships and technical service business throughout the Western United States.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative – Cryogenic & Compressed Gas Field Services with Hands-On knowledge of cryogenic, compressed gas or industrial gas equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician, Service Manager, Technical Sales Representative or industrial gas professional who understands the equipment, knows the industry and enjoys working directly with customers.

We are not simply looking for a traditional salesperson!. We are looking for someone who can walk into a customer's facility, understand their equipment and operational challenges, identify opportunities, and confidently recommend the right service solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business and expand existing customer relationships throughout California and the Western United States.
• Promote Correct Cryogenics' field service, repair, maintenance and installation capabilities.
• Visit industrial gas distributors, gas producers, fill plants, manufacturing facilities and customer locations.
• Identify service opportunities involving:
• Cryogenic bulk tanks
• Microbulk systems
• LOX, LIN, LAR, CO₂ and LNG equipment
• Cryogenic trailers and ISO containers
• Vaporizers
• Pumps
• Cryogenic and high-pressure piping systems
• Liquid cylinders and dewars
• Plant equipment and installations
• Develop opportunities for preventive maintenance programs, inspections, repairs and emergency service.
• Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations and service proposals.
• Coordinate opportunities with Correct Cryogenics' operations, field service and management teams.
• Develop long-term relationships with maintenance managers, plant managers, operations managers, purchasing departments and engineering teams.
• Maintain sales opportunities, customer activities and follow-up information in the company's CRM system.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cryogenic and/or compressed gas equipment.
• Experience servicing, installing, maintaining or selling industrial gas equipment.
• Understanding of cryogenic safety and high-pressure gas systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical personnel and management.
• Strong relationship-building and customer-service skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable developing new business.
• Ability to identify customer problems and translate them into service opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
