Technical Sales Representative

We are a small company that is selective in our client base. We are a wholesale distributor of medium and high voltage materials serving the contractor, utility and OEM markets.

Solid computer skills with the use of Windows, e-mail (Outlook is used), Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat. These applications are used extensively in this position.

Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.

Quotation development:

Building quotation in required formats that match the inquiry. Includes, but not limited to, securing supplier quotations that optimize the ability for us to secure the order.

Order management:

Process orders received from the clients, including but not limited to:

Creation of submittal package.

Create and send purchase orders to suppliers with appropriate documentation and site information.

Provide tracking reports for internal use to maintain project schedule and external use by client.

Create invoices timely to when the materials ship.

Inventory:

Identifying items (with packing lists) and updating inventory spreadsheet.

Act professionally, with solid written and verbal communication skills.

Willing to learn and apply new skills.

Willing to work through difficult parts of the process.

Willing to take initiative to learn and seek out new information, sales/business opportunities, suppliers, customers.

We’ll help the willing successful candidate and provide training with the process and products.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
