Responsibilities

Business Development & Project Acquisition

  • Proactively develop new clients in the German industrial automation market and maintain relationships with existing accounts.
  • Identify and evaluate project opportunities, assess alignment between customer needs and company capabilities, and assist with preliminary client evaluation and basic cooperation documentation.
  • Track potential projects end-to-end, conduct opportunity and competitive analysis, and coordinate internal resources for pre-sales preparation.
  • Support solution introduction, basic cost estimation, quotation, and commercial negotiations to facilitate contract signing.
  • Assist in payment follow-up and project handover after contract finalization.

Customer Relationship & Sales Execution

  • Serve as the main point of contact for German customers, respond to inquiries in a timely manner, and promote repeat business.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical discussions, solution presentations, and assist in proposal development.
  • Organize client meetings and project follow-ups, prepare meeting minutes, and project status records.
  • Own the entire sales cycle—from opportunity identification, needs analysis, and solution design to contract signing—ensuring efficient conversion and achievement of annual sales targets and strategic account growth KPIs.
  • Maintain customer and pipeline data in CRM to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

Market Intelligence & Internal Collaboration

  • Collect German market trends, competitor information, and customer feedback, and provide regular internal reports.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project, and product teams to ensure efficient project execution and solution improvement.
  • Support the implementation of regional sales strategies and market expansion plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in technical sales, business development or customer-facing positions in the industrial automation & non-standard automation equipment sector.

Required Skills

  • Basic technical understanding of automation equipment and applications; familiarity with custom automation lines or systems is preferred.
  • Excellent business communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; able to independently develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience with overseas customers or German market exposure is highly preferred.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (working language)
  • Proficient in CRM systems and office software for sales management and reporting.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, with strong execution and teamwork skills.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and execution capabilities.
