Technical Sales Representative (TAL)

TAL a division of Norcros is looking for a Technical Sales Representative. The role requires the incumbent to target the contractor, wholesale, inclusive retail, and induce market within their designated geographical boundaries in order to maximise sales, optimise GP’s, grow, and maintain the customer base and increase market share.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

Identify and source leads in this market within geographical boundaries;

Promote the TAL brand in the contract market;

Manage leads utilising call cycle strategies and question sheets;

Meet monthly and annual sales targets;

Handle objections effectively in areas such as price; availability; ranges; accounts; delivery; competitor services etc;

Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers;

Identify and exceed customer service expectations;

Identify and exceed customer product requirements;

Ensure all general filing is accurate and up to date;

Follow up on quotes and samples issued;

Promote positive teamwork in the department and with the company;

Adhere to all Health & Safety standards in the factory.

Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent

Minimum 2 years sales experience in construction chemical industry

Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction chemical industry

Valid driver's licence and own transport

Cement and concrete institute course would be an added advantage.
