Technical Sales Representative – Western Australia

This role represents our first dedicated, on-the-ground hire in the region. As such, it will play a central role in driving business activity, supporting customers, and establishing our long-term footprint locally.

 We are looking for someone who combines strong commercial instincts with hands-on technical capability. This is a hybrid role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and is comfortable moving between customer engagement and practical equipment support.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships across the region
• Identify, develop, and convert new sales opportunities
• Prepare quotations and support the end-to-end sales process
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections, setup, and preparation of rental equipment
• Perform post-hire inspections, testing, and condition reporting
• Coordinate equipment readiness and support field operations as required
• Act as the local technical and commercial point of contact for customers
• Support demonstrations, training, and customer onboarding where required

About You

• Previous experience working within the hydrographic industry (essential)
• Proven ability to balance customer-facing sales activities with technical responsibilities
• Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with NORBIT systems will be viewed favourably
• Willingness to travel within Western Australia as required
