About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Sales Support Specialist to join a remote team on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). Communicating primarily via email, this role balances daily sales support, order processing, and lead nurturing with technical client guidance. You will utilize your life sciences background to explain technical product specifications to B2B buyers without being responsible for regulatory filings or generating Certificates of Analysis (COAs).

Key responsibilities

• Monitor incoming customer emails and manage day-to-day sales inquiries promptly
• Actively track, manage, and nurture warm inbound sales leads to drive pipeline conversion
• Process customer orders and coordinate end-to-end inquiry resolution
• Log customer interactions, lead progress, and sales pipeline activities in Salesforce
• Apply scientific knowledge to explain technical product specifications and ingredient applications to prospective and existing clients
• Assist buyers with technical product questions to support their purchasing decisions

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, or a related STEM field preferred
• Proficiency in Salesforce is a major advantage; experience with Google Workspace and order management tools required
• Exceptional written English skills with the ability to convey complex technical details clearly via email
• Prior experience in B2B customer support, order management, or inbound sales administration
• Dedicated home office setup with stable high-speed internet and full availability during assigned EST business hours (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM US EST)
