Our client is an international energy storage solutions provider serving residential and commercial markets. With an established presence across the ANZ region, Our Client provides battery energy storage systems and related technical solutions to channel partners, installers and end-users.

As the business continues to grow across ANZ, they are looking to strengthen their technical service capability and provide high-level support to key channel customers.

About the Role

We’re currently recruiting a Technical Service Engineer in New Zealand. This is a customer-facing technical role within the APAC Technical Service team, supporting key channel partners, installers and end users across ANZ.

Your Responsibility

• Provide remote technical support and troubleshoot energy storage systems
• Analyse system faults and prepare technical reports
• Monitor system performance and identify recurring technical issues
• Manage technical relationships with key channel customers
• Collect product-quality and customer feedback for internal teams
• Deliver product and technical training to channel partners
• Support installers and end users with technical enquiries
• Contribute to ongoing product and service improvements

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Energy or a related discipline
• 2–3+ years’ experience in the electrical or renewable energy industry preferred
• Understanding of battery energy storage, electrical systems or power electronics
• Strong fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Customer-facing technical support experience highly regarded
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of relevant Australian electrical and product standards advantageous
• Valid driver’s licence
