€50,000 – €60,000 + 10–20% Bonus + Company Car/Fuel Card + Home-Based + Technical Autonomy

North West France (Commutable from: Rennes, Nantes, Brest, Saint-Brieuc, Vannes, Lorient, Angers)

Are you a Field Technical Services Engineer, Technical Service Engineer or Technical Applications Engineer from a flexible packaging OEM, looking for a highly customer-facing role where you’ll be trusted to run your own patch and influence real product solutions?

On offer is a home-based, permanent position with a global flexible packaging manufacturer supplying major food and healthcare markets, where you’ll work consultatively with customers across France, trialling new materials and resolving technical issues alongside product development.

The business is long-established and operates at significant scale, offering strong stability and a broad product portfolio across multiple end markets (including dairy, meat, pharma and pet food). As part of a continued focus on EU operations and service quality, they’re strengthening their technical field support capability.

In this role you’ll plan customer visits efficiently, spend the majority of your time on-site (circa 70% travel), identify issues with packaging material performance, support trials of new solutions, and formalise findings via CRM (Salesforce) from your home office.

This role would suit a French-speaking technical professional who enjoys autonomy, variety, and being the “go-to” person for customers and internal stakeholders.

The Role:

• Home-based Field Technical Services role covering France (c.70% travel)
• Plan and deliver customer visits, trials and technical consultations
• Identify material/product issues and liaise with product development on solutions
• Formalise site findings and actions via Salesforce/CRM

The Person:

• Fluent French + English, with EU citizenship (travel requirements)
• Technical experience with a flexible packaging OEM (customer-facing / applications / technical service)
• Full driving licence
