Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Service Engineer to provide technical support and service to customers in the steel and foundry industries. The candidate will handle installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of temperature measurement and sampling equipment at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and maintain temperature measurement and sampling equipment.
• Visit customer sites to provide technical support and resolve equipment issues.
• Identify problems and perform troubleshooting and basic repairs.
• Carry out regular equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Train customer operators on the proper use of products.
• Prepare service reports and maintain records of service activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Communicate with customers to understand their requirements and ensure proper equipment performance.
• Follow safety procedures while working at industrial sites.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of technical services and technical support.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work at customer locations and in industrial environments.
• Knowledge of temperature measurement equipment, instrumentation, or process control systems will be an advantage.

Education and Experience;

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering field.
• Experience in field service, technical support, or industrial equipment maintenance is preferred.
• Experience in the steel, foundry, or heavy industrial sector will be an added advantage.
