Technical Service Engineer

Job Purpose

Provide technical and clinical support for Radiation Oncology solutions across the Asia-Pacific region by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing medical systems. The role also manages implementation projects, delivers customer training, and ensures exceptional customer satisfaction while supporting the safe and efficient use of advanced radiotherapy technology.

General Responsibilities

• Perform installation of products

• Perform service for products

• Independently perform routine troubleshooting and repairs

• Provide on-site guidance and assistance to customers during treatment maximizing efficiency and usage

• Educate/train customer on the use of products and services

• Field customer questions/requests: Investigate and resolve issues consistent with established policies and procedures

• Effectively communicate with customers to understand problems and adequately troubleshoot issues

• Perform routine calibrations and preventative maintenance

• Deliver high level customer service

• Read, analyze, interpret and follow signal flow on blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams

• Instruct customers and staff in proper use of the equipment

• Keep abreast of developments regarding and competitive

• Manage small to medium-scale projects from project start/project prephase through project closing

• Ensure project(s) are delivered on schedule and within budget, while satisfying agreed-upon requirements and specifications within the scope of the project

• Manage the production of project estimates, develop project plans and schedule, establish measures and milestones, track ongoing progress, proactively managing risks, issues, scope through the project life-cycle, report project status on a regular basis, addresses project issues, when they arise e.g. to Steering Committee

• Provide mentoring and training

• Coordinate work with other project teams

• Coordinate assigned project team members, ensure timely activity, integrate and use time and resources efficiently to meet requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Medical Physics, or a related engineering field.
• Experience in field service, application support, or technical support for medical devices, preferably in Radiation Oncology, Radiotherapy, or Medical Imaging.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networked medical systems.
• Experience managing customer-facing projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to train healthcare professionals.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Asia-Pacific region.
• Fluent in English with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
