Technical Service Executive

About the role

You will be the technical lead in the field and the go-to expert for customers and the sales team. You'll work directly with management, own the technical side of the business end to end, and see the impact of your work on real production lines every week.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run adhesive trials on customer lines (edge banders, laminating presses, roll coaters, hot melt and dispensing systems), setting and optimizing parameters such as temperature, coat weight, open time, pressure and line speed
• Respond quickly to problems, find the root cause (adhesive, substrate, machine or process) and get the customer running again
• Write clear trial reports and root-cause analyses that factory managers and the sales team can act on
• Train operators and maintenance teams on correct adhesive handling, application and storage
• Join sales visits to assess new opportunities, recommend the right product for each application, and help win new accounts
• Run in-house checks (e.g. viscosity, bond and peel strength) and handle customer quality complaints through to closure
• Stay current on new products, application methods and customer machinery

About you

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science or a related field
• 2–5 years in technical service, application engineering or process engineering
• Experience with adhesives, coatings, sealants, inks, wood panels/furniture or packaging
• Comfortable on the factory floor with production machinery, and confident solving problems hands-on
• Self-driven and able to work independently, managing your own schedule and priorities
• Communicates credibly with both operators and plant managers
• Native Thai; working English for technical data sheets, reports and supplier communication
• Valid driving license and own car, willing to travel regularly to industrial estates
