A. Job Purpose

The position holder will support the implementation of the company’s after-sales service under guidance, assisting in service activities and acting as a trainee service representative to help ensure that safety requirements and proper product operation standards are met while developing technical competence.

B. Job Function:

1. Onsite Installation & Service Support

• Supports the Service Engineer in installation, commissioning, and testing of equipment at customer sites under supervision.
• Performs basic installation tasks and functional checks in accordance with defined procedures and checklists.
• Assists in preparing equipment and documentation for handover activities.
• Follows all applicable safety requirements, work instructions, and quality standards.

2. Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Service Execution

• Assists in preventive maintenance (PM) and basic troubleshooting activities under guidance.
• Prepares and maintains tools, test equipment, and materials required for service activities.
• Records service activities and basic equipment information accurately in relevant systems.
• Escalates technical issues and customer feedback to the responsible Service Engineer.

3. Administrative & Learning Support

• Supports preparation of basic service reports and documentation in line with company requirements.
• Assists in demonstration and evaluation setup when required.
• Maintains timely reporting of assigned activities.
• Actively participates in training and on-the-job learning to develop technical knowledge and competencies.

C. Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Equipment, Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Fresh graduate or with up to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of medical devices or technical systems is considered an advantage.
• Basic English reading skills to understand technical manuals and service documentation.

Experience

• Fresh graduate or initial exposure through internships or entry-level roles in a technical or service environment.
• Exposure to a multinational working environment is an advantage.
• Basic communication skills with the ability to present information clearly.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical competencies.
• Ability to work collaboratively and follow guidance from senior staff.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Ability to read and understand technical manuals and documentation.
